WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?
We’re based in the GTA and service Ontario and neighbouring provinces. Heck, we love a good road trip! We have 4 delivery zones, and beyond that we change $1/km.
MY VENUE WON'T LET ME BRING IN A 3RD PARTY TO DO THE BAR. HELP?
We're always happy to talk to your venue directly. Think of us as the most gorgeous plexi-bar you've ever seen, we just happen to have a tap system. If they allow 3rd party rentals, you should be able to roll in Goldie or Beau.
HOW MANY GLASSES ARE IN A KEG?
One 20L keg equals 26 bottles of wine – that’s about 120, 5oz glasses! The avg price per glass is $2.50
DO YOU SELL ALCOHOL?
Liquor laws in Ontario don’t allow the sale of alcohol from a mobile vehicle. In accordance with The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), the Special Occasion Permit and all alcohol must be purchased by the host. So WIN WIN for you, that means no mark-up on alcohol!!! We provide a consultation to help you pick the perfect wine from our list of preferred vendors, and help facilitate the purchase and delivery. We have more than 20 wines for you to choose from. So you're sure to please even the most discerning guest's palette.
DO YOU HANDLE THE SOP?
If you’re working in a public space, you’ll simply need to get a Special Occasion Permit from the AGCO [link]. If we're planning your entire event, we can facilitate the SOP for you.
WHAT ABOUT INSURANCE & PERMITS?
We carry $2 million general liability policy and Party Alcohol Liability policy, and can provide copies upon request. All our staff are also Smart Serve certified bartenders!
CAN GUESTS SERVE THEMSELVES?
Based on AGCO regulations if we are operating the bar a smart serve certified server must pour all drinks. However, Beau can be dropped off for self serve, and since you're buying the wine it's like hosting your own party.
WHAT DO I NEED TO SECURE MY DATE?
We require a 50% deposit non-refundable deposit to reserve your date. The remaining 50% is due 2 weeks before your event date.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CHANGE MY DATE?
We know COVID is playing havoc on brides and planners. We are happy to work with our clients to accomodate re-scheduling.
HOW MUCH SPACE DOES GOLDIE TAKE UP?
She's 17 ft long x 6 ft wide x 7.5 ft tall. Maneuvering the trailer into position requires additional space, and she needs flat dry ground (no stairs please). We recommend an additional 8-10 feet in front of the dispensing area for guests to wait in line and be served.
DOES GOLDIE REQUIRE ELECTRICITY?
If you're hosting an evening event, we require access to outlet to power the pinapple lights. If it's a daytime event, we can function without power. We can also offer at 2000 watt generator if need be.
CAN I BRAND OR CUSTOMIZE GOLDIE FOR A CLIENT?
Yes, Goldie and Beau love to get dressed up. We are always up for fun new ideas, so please get in touch with us.
